Meet Kayla, Service Manager

My name is Kayla, and I am the Nominated Supervisor at Shapes Early Learning Upper Mount Gravatt. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and am passionate about providing high quality Early Childhood Education and care through a play based learning approach, in alignment with the National Quality Framework and standards.

At the heart of my philosophy is the importance of building strong, collaborative relationships with educators, children, and families to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. 

With strong leadership skills, I guide my team with a shared commitment to excellence in quality and compliance. I am dedicated to upholding the national law, regulations, and legislative guidelines to ensure a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive.

With 15 years of experience in the Early Childhood sector, including the past four years as an Approved Provider, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of high-quality education and care. My experience across various roles has provided me with valuable insights into best practices, leadership, and compliance, allowing me to support my team and ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
