Engaging Incursions That Inspire
Our fun and interactive music sessions support development through movement and play. Children build confidence and language skills, strengthen motor coordination, regulate emotions and develop social connections — all while having a wonderful time.
As part of our Kindergarten Approved Program, we proudly offer weekly Japanese lessons. Learning a second language enhances cognitive development, memory and communication skills. Through songs, greetings, games and cultural experiences, children broaden their understanding of the world and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We proudly offer a Bush Kindy program, where our kindergarten aged children explore and learn in natural outdoor environments, fostering confidence, resilience, and a love for nature.
A unique highlight of our program is our Intergenerational Program. Each week, children visit a local aged care facility, where they build special relationships with the residents—affectionately known as their “Grand Friends.” These visits create meaningful connections across generations, nurturing empathy, communication skills, and a strong sense of community.
Our kindergarten program at Shapes Upper Mount Gravatt includes a weekly basketball session as part of the funded program. Led by Coach Josh every Friday at 10:15am, these sessions support the development of gross motor skills, an essential component of school readiness.

It's a lovely, clean environment for my toddler. The educators are all approachable. The service uses Storypark to keep me updated on the daily routines and different kinds of learning activities she participates in, which makes me feel connected and reassured about my child's well-being. She loves Miss Pitcha and is well settled in.

Obsessed with this early learning centre, we are so glad we moved our daughter here and have found the new centre manager, Kayla, to be exceptional. Things are running smoothly, and communication is fantastic.
Jade and Hannah are really amazing educators, and I'm honestly so happy with the progress Isla has had there.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. They have helped us implement the same routine at daycare and home, and are very keen on helping him grow. My lil 5-month-old is excited every morning I drop him off (has the biggest smile when he sees the staff), then he is exhausted but very happy when I pick him up. He gets the perfect balance of tummy time, playtime and sleep.
I thought it would be too early for him to go to daycare full-time, but the staff have made the transition so much easier for my partner and me.
