Welcome to Shapes Early Learning Redbank Plains
Our nurturing service creates a warm, natural learning atmosphere where children feel inspired to grow.

Why Choose Shapes Early Learning Redbank Plains?
At Shapes Early Learning Redbank Plains, we see every child as a capable and curious learner, driven by their innate sense of wonder. Our educators embrace inquiry-based exploration, crafting rich learning environments that celebrate diversity, encourage collaboration, and honour each child’s unique identity. Through play, children naturally develop critical skills like problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional awareness—building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.
Our nurturing service creates a warm, natural learning atmosphere where children feel inspired to grow. Sunlit classrooms, with expansive windows that invite the outdoors in, provide a welcoming space for creativity and curiosity to flourish. Beyond the walls, our thoughtfully designed outdoor playground offers endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. With a mix of green spaces, sensory-richelements, and diverse play equipment, children can connect with nature, develop physical skills, and engage in imaginative, cooperative play. Every resource, from natural materials to books and technology, is carefully selected to ignite wonder, foster independence, and nurture a lifelong love of learning.
Engaging Incursions That Inspire: Sensory Play Classes
Our sensory play classes support children’s development through rich, hands-on play experiences grounded in developmental science. Each session invites children to explore, create and connect using carefully curated sensory materials that support regulation, curiosity and confidence. We focus on more than just play. These experiences support brain development, emotional regulation, language, social skills and a child’s natural drive to explore the world around them. Sessions are thoughtfully designed by Dr Siobhan Kennedy-Costantini (PhD in Developmental Psychology), bringing together evidence-based practice with meaningful, engaging play.

Meet Crystal, Service Manager
My name is Crystal, and I believe that strong relationships with families, children, and the community form the foundation of effective early childhood education. I am committed to fostering collaborative partnerships with families, valuing their unique insights and contributions to their child's learning journey.
By building trust and open communication, we create a supportive network that empowers children to thrive both in and outside the classroom. I am deeply passionate about nurturing children's development through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches, recognising the inherent value of hands-on exploration and discovery. Through rich, immersive experiences, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, ask questions, and construct meaning from their interactions with the world around them.
I believe in providing ample opportunities for children to connect with nature, understanding its profound impact on their well-being and development. By immersing themselves in outdoor environments, children cultivate a sense of wonder, develop empathy for the natural world, and deepen their understanding of ecological concepts.
Ultimately, my goal is to create an inclusive, enriching learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

I’m so happy to be a part of the Shapes Redbank family. My son absolutely adores the educators and looks forward to attending daycare every day.
The ladies in reception are always welcoming, helpful and understanding.
The educators are all lovely and continue to show my son that he is safe and belongs within the centre. The chef makes the tastiest food!

I find this service very inviting, and the staff are very professional. The interactions with the staff over the phone and at Story Park are second to none. I highly recommend this service; it is like an extension to the family home.
They are very knowledgeable about children's learning and invite the parents to have an input in their children's journey. They also capture the children's voices. To say I am very happy is an understatement. Services like yours make a parent/caregiver feel very comfortable leaving their children to play.
Thank you to all the staff, I are very appreciative of your hard work and the love for my grandchildren.
