Shaping Your Child's Tomorrow Through Today's Learning
Welcome to Shapes Early Learning
At Shapes Early Learning, our mission is to nurture young minds, providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. We are committed to fostering a love for learning through innovative and personalised early childhood education, instilling values of inclusivity, creativity, and curiosity. Recognising that each child is unique, we tailor our learning and development approach to meet the specific needs and interests of every child. We believe in personalised learning plans that empower children to excel at their own pace.
We celebrate diversity and promote an inclusive atmosphere where children learn about different cultures, languages, and perspectives.
Our dedicated team of educators are passionate about shaping the future of learning by:
Holistic Development
Our approach to education
encompasses not only academic growth but also emotional, social, and physical development. We recognize that every aspect of a child's learning experience contributes to shaping the individual they will become.
Confidence & Independence
Through our personalised learning plans, we empower children to gain confidence in their abilities and become independent learners. This self-assuredness will serve them well as they face challenges and opportunities in the years ahead.
Community Connection
We foster strong connections with families and the local community, emphasising the importance of collaborative learning. We believe that a supportive community is an invaluable resource in shaping a child's future.
Learning Programs
Our play-based learning program offers numerous benefits for early childhood development, drawing from the principles of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), NQS and the Reggio Emilia approach. By embracing play as a fundamental mode of learning, educators can nurture holistic development, where children engage in hands-on exploration to make sense of the world around them. Through child-cantered experiences guided by the EYLF, educators observe and respond to children's interests and needs, fostering a supportive environment for growth.
Inquiry-based exploration
At Shapes Early Learning, we recognise children as capable and competent learners, encouraging inquiry-based exploration driven by their curiosity. By integrating various approaches, educators create rich learning environments that honour diversity, promote collaboration, and celebrate the unique identities of each child. Through play, children develop essential skills, including problem-solving, creativity, and social-emotional competence, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.
Nurturing service
In our nurturing service, we prioritise creating a natural learning environment designed to inspire and support children's growth and development. Bathed in natural light streaming through expansive windows, our classrooms offer a warm and inviting atmosphere that stimulates curiosity and creativity.
Engaging environments
Beyond the walls, our vast outdoor playground beckons with opportunities for exploration and discovery. Here, children can engage in active play, connecting with nature and developing physical skills while breathing in the fresh air and soaking up the beauty of the natural world. Our outdoor space is thoughtfully designed with diverse play equipment, green spaces, and sensory-rich elements to spark imagination and encourage cooperative play. Inside and out, our learning environment is well-resourced with a wide array of materials, tools, and educational resources carefully selected to support children's unique interests and learning styles. From natural materials like wood and stone to manipulatives, books, and technology, every resource is thoughtfully chosen to inspire wonder, foster independence, and ignite a lifelong love of learning.

Healthy Eating
At Shapes Early Learning, we understand the importance of providing children with nutritionally balanced meals to support their growth and development. That's why we have a dedicated on-site Service Cook who prepares delicious and wholesome meals for the children in our care every day.
Our rotating seasonal menu ensures that children are exposed to a diverse range of ingredients and flavours throughout the year. We believe in providing meals that not only nourish their bodies but also excite their taste buds and cultivate a love for healthy eating. Each season brings new opportunities to explore fresh produce and incorporate cultural diversity into our menu.
We celebrate cultural diversity through our meals, introducing children to cuisines from around the world. From traditional dishes to modern twists on classic favourites, our menu reflects the rich tapestry of culinary traditions that make up our global community. Through food, children learn about different cultures, traditions, and the importance of inclusivity.
Our commitment to quality extends beyond just the ingredients we use. We prioritise freshness, sustainability, and inclusivity in our meal preparation process. Our Service Cook takes pride in crafting meals with care and attention to detail, ensuring that each dish is not only delicious but also meets our high standards for nutrition and flavour.
By providing nutritionally balanced meals that are diverse and culturally inclusive, we aim to instil healthy eating habits in children from a young age. We believe that by introducing them to a variety of foods and flavours early on, we can help them develop a lifelong appreciation for healthy, delicious meals.
At Shapes Early Learning, we are dedicated to nurturing the whole child, and our commitment to providing nutritious, culturally diverse meals is just one way we support their holistic development.
Meet our Rebank Plains Service Manager - Crystal
My name is Crystal and I believe that strong relationships with families, children, and the community form the foundation of effective early childhood education. I am committed to fostering collaborative partnerships with families, valuing their unique insights and contributions to their child's learning journey.
By building trust and open communication, we create a supportive network that empowers children to thrive both in and outside the classroom. I am deeply passionate about nurturing children's development through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches, recognising the inherent value of hands-on exploration and discovery. Through rich, immersive experiences, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, ask questions, and construct meaning from their interactions with the world around them.
I believe in providing ample opportunities for children to connect with nature, understanding its profound impact on their well-being and development. By immersing themselves in outdoor environments, children cultivate a sense of wonder, develop empathy for the natural world, and deepen their understanding of ecological concepts.
Ultimately, my goal is to create an inclusive, enriching learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
